30 Adult Jokes Hidden In Kids’ Movies
Kids’ films are made for kids, but they are written by adult writers. The producers and writers know that even though most of their audience is little kids, a hefty percentage of the audience is also the parents. Parents are mostly bored watching animated cartoons sing and dance, but sometimes they get to enjoy a few dirty innuendos that are hidden here and there in the films. Here are the 30 best ones that we have noticed.
The Incredibles – Happy Wife
The Incredibles movie is among the top Pixar films and can be even proclaimed as one of the top animated superhero films of all time. In this classic, Mr. Incredibles finds himself working for the bad guys to fight robots. He gets to relive his glory days, and since he is paid a lot more than his previous job, his family also seems to be very happy.
In one of the montages, we get to see Mr. Incredibles having a good time with his wife, Elastigirl. It is also implied that they have “intimate moments” before he goes to work.
Finding Nemo – Lucky Tentacle
The Disney animated movie, Finding Nemo, has won all of our hearts with its wholesome plot and heart-warming comedy-drama. Not only is it loved by kids of all ages, but the adults also enjoy the story and drama. So, it seems a bit odd to find some inappropriate jokes in this movie.
Pearl is a pink flapjack Octopus who meets Nemo in school. She shows off her lucky tentacle to everyone, which is the shortest one of her tentacles. For those who don’t know, all octopi have a tentacle that is shorter than the others, and it contains their genitals.
The Emperor’s New Groove – The Obscure Tent
This old animated comedy film is a Disney movie that we hadn’t seen before. Even though it was a box office flop, it has grown on us over the years and is now remembered as a classic. And even the classics have their mischievous ploys once in a while.
One particular scene stands out where the villain’s stooge, Krook, has to make tents for his boss during their night stay in a jungle. While he made a grand tent for his boss, Yzma, his one didn’t turn out to be so elite. He ended up pitching a tent for himself that only covers his waist!
Shrek– Wipe Your…Face!
Shrek is one of the top hilarious movies of all time. Not only is it enjoyed by kids, but the grown-ups love it too. Maybe it’s because we enjoy a bit of whimsical humor, or maybe we have stumbled upon the small dirty jokes hidden in the movies.
One such instance can be seen in the movie when Shrek and Donkey arrive at the Kingdom of Duloc. They are welcomed by a song, as with most kids’ animated films, but there is a particular line in the song that grabbed our attention. The dolls sing “ Shine your shoes, wipe your…face!” and we all know what they meant.
