Elf on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean

When Norrington captures Jack Sparrow in ‘The Curse of the Black Pearl,’ he clutches the compass, pointing directly at Sparrow since that is what Norrington wanted the most. The compass that Jack Sparrow uses is somewhat unique. Rather than indicating north, it shows the direction of the person’s desired destinations.

It’s worth noting that when Commodore James Norrington apprehends Jack and grabs his compass, it points directly towards him. This is most likely because he has Elizabeth at his shoulder, and the only thing he desires more than anything is to see Sparrow imprisoned.

In the blacksmith battle scene with Jack Sparrow, we see the Elvish tattoo from ‘Lord of the Rings’ on Orlando Bloom’s wrist. Orlando Bloom has given us two of his most wonderful works. Thanks to his portrayal of Legolas in Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, Orlando Bloom rose to prominence.

To memorialize their time on the set of those films, the actors of the Fellowship received tattoos, so Bloom got his tattoo in the Elvish significantly. Bloom’s Will Turner brawls Jack Sparrow in this sequence, and the tattoo is apparent.

The scene where Jack and Will mastermind the plan to commander the Interceptor is remarkable. While Will Turner and Jack escape, Will ties up the propeller of a sailboat with the lobster trap he mistakenly steps in. He did this, so they can’t be pursued.

Mickey on the Moon

Disney has a reputation for obfuscating studio-specific data in their films. The presence of Mickey Mouse’s ears is a popular Easter egg, but in Pirates of the Caribbean, they seemed to go even further. The camera zooms in on the Mao Kun map, which is embellished with paintings of various animals in At Word’s End.
