Big Show
Paul Donald Wight II was not always known as Big Show in the WWE world. At first, his nickname was The Giant. But now, people know him as Big Show. His debut in professional wrestling was on December 3, 1994. Born on February 8, 1972, this wrestling legend won the world championship seven times. Big Show made his final appearance on the WWE platform on January 4, 2021.
After saying goodbye to the wrestling world, Big Show was seen on several movies and TV shows. He starred in a Netflix sitcom titled “The Big Show Show.”
Tugboat
Fred Alex Ottoman is also known as Tugboat and Typhoon. Ottoman debuted in June 1989 at World Wrestling Federation. He was known as the Big Steel Man when he first appeared. His name was later changed to Tugboat, and he played an ally of Hulk Hogan.
In 1991, he was introduced as Typhoon after becoming part of the wrestling tag team The Natural Disasters. John Tenta, also known as Earthquake, was part of the team alongside Typhoon. Ottoman bid goodbye to his wrestling career in 2001. He coaches for two little league teams where his sons play. He is also working as a safety manager in Florida.
The Ultimate Warrior
The Ultimate Warrior, also referred to as The Warrior, was not just a professional wrestler but a bodybuilder. He was born James Brian Hellwig on June 16, 1959. But he legally changed his name to Warrior in 1993. After making his mark as a bodybuilder, he first appeared in the WWE (previously WWF) in 1987.
Warrior’s journey with the WWE was not smooth sailing. There were several cases of suspension throughout the years. But the wrestling legend earned his place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. He died of a heart attack shortly after.
Ric Flair
Richard Morgan Fliehr was born on February 25, 1949. He is professionally known as Ric Flair and is a true legend on the WWE platform. Flair is considered to be one of the top wrestlers of all time. He had a glorious wrestling career that spanned almost 50 years.
Flair made his debut on December 10, 1972. He won the world championship 16 times. Over the years, Flair made multiple television appearances. Even at 73, this legendary wrestler still has the fire in him to keep going. Flair’s final match is scheduled to take place in July 2022.
