The Incredible Journey Behind the McGhee Sextuplets

Some couples are willing to do anything to be parents. We know about households with many kids, maybe even close in age, but what is rare is to have many kids at the same time. This usually happens when couples reach out to undergo fertility treatments, such as IVF. It is common to have at least twins, since many embryos are implanted at the same time. However, there are instances where all of the embryos develop, resulting in sextuplets or more. This was the case for Mia and Rozonno McGhee, who desperately wanted to become parents, but struggled with fertility issues. With IVF therapy, Mia got pregnant with six babies, who made it to term. This is their miraculous story.

Mia and Rozonno’s Story

When it came to starting their own family, Mia and Rozonno had terrible luck, unfortunately. Mia’s most personal moments had to be shared with doctors, and she was on the verge of losing her life’s most important goal. She struggled with fertility issues, which made it difficult to conceive.

At the Beginning

Rozonno and Mia McGhee have a long history together. When they were both in their teens, they met. It was love at first sight for Mia, and she knew right away that Rozonno was the one who would help her realize her greatest ambition: becoming a mother.

Her greatest ambition in life was to build a strong and happy family, as she grew up in a single-parent household. She knew she’d be the finest mother she could be from a young age, and she knew Rozonno would complete her. They would bring fresh life into the planet by working together.

A Single Parent Household

Mia grew up in a single parent household with her mother. She remembers fantasizing about her wedding day and the family she would one day have when she was a little kid. She would imagine the beautiful white wedding dress and the three-tiered wedding cake with icing flowers at the top.

She knew deep down that the man she married would have to be a strong and supportive individual, and that he must share her ambition of having a large family more than anything else in the world. In contrast to her own small family, she wanted a big one.

Going by the Book

Time passed and life put Rozonno McGhee in her path, the man of her dreams, and he worshiped Mia. She intended to finish high school and complete her college years before embarking on the path of parenthood, and that’s exactly what she did. Mia’s 20th birthday was approaching, and the couple was set to embark on the next chapter of their life.

Mia discovered that becoming a mother wasn’t as simple as she had imagined, and that getting pregnant naturally was difficult. Years passed, and the McGhees were desperate to start a family. Things were not going according to plan.
