The Wildest Things To Ever Be Caught On Trail Cam

Have you ever wondered what goes in your yard while you are sleeping? You might have a friendly family of foxes frolicking about, or a neighbor that sleepwalks through your front yard each night. Until you set-up a trail cam, you won’t know what crazy things are happening on your doorstep or off in the woods. These neat little pieces of tech are only triggered when something sets off the built-in motion detector. As soon as something moves, images and video are captured.

If you want to find out about nature, and the animals that wander around your neighborhood then consider investing in one of these. You might be surprised to see what wanders by, or intrigued.

A Raccoon Party

Raccoons are known for their adorable little black ringed eyes, tiny hands, and long striped tails. As they have little hands, they are able to open doors, lift up lids, and anything else that might be hiding a tasty morsel of food. This deer feeder had broken, and spilled all of the feed on the ground.

An enterprising family of raccoons saw all of the spilled corn and could not help but start gobbling it up. It looks like they had a great party in full Roman style. Look at all them lounging around in the corn, and stuffing their little faces.

The Brown Rabbit

Lewis Carroll’s famous book Alice in Wonderland is full of fantastical tales of Alice and a white rabbit diving headfirst down a rabbit hole. This little brown rabbit looks like he might be a close relative of the white rabbit, as he dives into a black plastic cylinder.

If this was the book, that rabbit would have entered Wonderland, and is about to go on a grand adventure. It should be very careful of what it eats or drinks, or it might end up like Alice. Sometimes growing too big or too small, is not a good thing, which Alice found out the hard way.

Tiger King

It’s pretty rare to see a tiger in the wild, but India still has a few roaming around the jungles. A person in India decided to set-up a trail cam, and see if they could capture a few images of any local tigers. They managed to capture this one, which is pretty amazing.

At first, it appears a bit strange but that’s because the tiger has been cooling itself off. In the wild, they roll in mud as it acts as a natural cooling agent and bug spray.

Beware The Flying Squirrel

Animals like to have fun in the wild, especially flying squirrels. These little critters are nocturnal and tend to ‘fly’ or jump from tree to tree. It seems like this little guy might have gotten a bit confused though.

Instead of aiming for a tree, the squirrel decided to jump onto this deer’s head. We bet that deer was pretty frightened when it saw the squirrel coming in for a landing, but these critters are harmless.
